We begin with goats milk from one of our three milkers, Eileen, Clara or Bonnie.

We saponify the oils of olive, coconut and palm, add whole goats milk, rainwater and an essential oil like peppermint, orange or lavender to give it the wonderful smell. Occasionally we might throw in a handful of poppy seeds or oatmeal, but we don’t use any artificial ingredients, additives, dyes or preservatives.

The soap is hand made and poured into a mold with a cellophane lining, hence the “character lines” as we like to call them.

It is made, cured, trimmed and packaged by a living person, so it has imperfections, just like we do.

We absolutely do not test our soap on animals. We only test it on our family, who are all too eager to receive a free bar of soap.

Each bar of soap contains a proverb on the back of the label. It’s much better than a fortune cookie, there are no calories and if properly drained, the soap will last a long time!
